In order to create the perfect PlayScape, we work with you and your outdoor space to tailor it to your needs.
Listed here are examples of materials we use on our projects.
Groundwork
Bark / Certified Play Bark / Organic Wood Chips
Installing bark or wood chip is the most cost-effective method of creating a safe playing area for your children. Various borders can be used to house this. We recommend 4x4 Posts, Logs or Railway Sleepers for a natural border.
Supports
Machine Rolled / Strainer Posts
At Garden Gecko, we place a high value on durability and safety. We exclusively utilize strong, pressured treated, ground contact graded posts; we do not construct thin and delicate frames in this establishment!
We can also offer square posts if you prefer these over the round look.
Materials
Scandanavian Redwood
Our projects are constructed using sustainably sourced Scandanavian Redwood Timber of superior quality. It is important to note that this timber is obtained from either FSC or PEFC certified sources.

Robinia is an exceptionally durable, naturally rot-resistant hardwood. It offers a sustainable, chemical-free option for play equipment, providing a stunning splinter-free, and long lasting aesthetic.

Wet Pour Surfacing
Wet pour rubber is a safe, seamless, impact-absorbing playground surface that comes in many colours. It is laid on-site and provides a vibrant, all-weather and compliant fall protection solution which has be installed in a multitude of customized designs.
Fixings
Only ForgeFast
We only use premium quality ForgeFast fixings and screws on all our projects. Heavy-Duty construction, exceptional corrosion resistance, Elementech 2000 coating and salt spray tested to 2000 hours. The best of the best.

Scottish Larch, being naturally resilient and long-lasting, is an excellent choice to greatly enhance the visual appeal of your PlayScape. Its inherent toughness and distinctive appearance add a touch of natural elegance.
